History

Founded by Ralf Koch in 2001 we can build on more than 40 years of experience in laser R&D at institutes and in the industry. The company started in Stockholm (Sweden) as ancillary activity and moved to Germany in 2017.
The founder’s prior industrial experience includes positions at Jenoptik (Jena, Germany), Lambda Physik (Göttingen, Germany), Acreo (Kista, Sweden), DirectPhotonics Industries (Berlin, Germany), LASOS Lasertechnik (Jena, Germany) and F & T Fibers and Technology (Berlin, Germany).

Competences

We are specialized in laser R&D and laser applications with emphasis on diode-pumped solid-state lasers (DPSSL) and component development. Furthermore, we have considerable experience with fiber lasers, fiber-optic components and sensors. More recently, we could complete this background with profound expertise in the field of high power and high brightness diode lasers for various applications.
